Fernando Villegas is Director/ DP/ Editor based in NYC. He has been awarded a Peabody and multi Emmy awards for his contributions on various project as a Director of Photography , Producer and Editor.
I began this journey as a story teller when I was given an opportunity to tell my own story at the age of 18 in a documentary film called “Teen Dreams” that premiered at the 1995 Sundance Film Festival and went on to other festivals that introduced me to the world of cinema . It was then that I learned that our stories have the power to make real positive change in our world.
I have used all that I learned to collaborate with amazing people to tell the stories of us around the world.
